Two brothers giving back to society in different manners



Kumud Kumar Das from Patna had been Principal Correspondent in The Financial Express (Mumbai)  years back after his stints in TOI and HT. Presently holding a high position in the news agency PTI in Mubai, he is seen in the picture with cancer hit kids of Mumbai. 

      The Centre in Chembur is being run by an NGO, Access Life Assistance Foundationh. He is the member of the group comprising ex-FE people. His group has contributed Rs. 35,000/= to the NGO in remembrance of five of the departed souls that had worked with FE (The Financial Express) in past. Mr. Kumud Das says the real achievement of life is what you gave to others and not what you earned for yourself.

      Hemant Kr. Das alias Hemant Das 'Him' is the younger brother of Mr. Kumud Kumar Das and he is very proud that he got such a caring elder brother for himself. Hemant is running a blog named Bihari Dhamaka and helping the talents of Bihar to be known outside Bihar and India through his creative presentation and translation of literary pieces in regional languages. He also admins a facebook group 'Sahitya Sanskriti Bihar' which has more than 350 members which is acting as a platform for sharing literary pieces posted on someone's facebook walls. His efforts has been widely appreciated in Bihar and a reputed daily newspaper (Dainik Bhaskar, Patna edition) on 12.6.2017 on pg.3 of supplement DB Star have reported in detail even without any face-to-face or telephonic contact with Hemant.
